Mr. Kiri has extensive experience in U.S. patent law as well as Japanese patent law. His cases mainly involve metallurgy and semiconductor technology.
Ms. Kiri has authored several books on U.S. prosecution procedures and patent litigation. He is frequently invited to speak on the U.S. patent system at the Japan Patent Attorneys Association, the Japan Intellectual Property Association, and the Japan Institute for the Promotion of Invention and Innovation.
Prior to entering a private practice, Mr. Kiri worked as a patent examiner for nearly two decades. In addition, Mr. Kiri served as a member of the Appeal Board of the Japan Patent Office for two years.
